Ruben Amorim is unlikely to join Liverpool or West Ham next season, according to reports from Portuguese media.

The Sporting Lisbon boss is a hot target for the Reds, who will leave Jurgen Klopp at the end of the season, while West Ham remain unclear about the future of current manager David Moyes.

Amorim reportedly flew to London on Monday. It is believed that he traveled to negotiate with the Hammers team.

The 39-year-old previously denied strong rumors of his move to Liverpool, but on Monday evening local time a plane landed in Lisbon. He was vague about the details of his lightning-fast round-trip.

However, it is possible that, like Xabi Alonso, the Reds’ previous target, The Sporting Lisbon boss will remain with his old club rather than leaving Sporting.

Sources close to Amorim have told UFABET Record that neither Liverpool nor West Ham are likely to be his new clubs, despite the Hammers offering a contract worth more than their league rivals.

Talks with West Ham are unlikely to be in a positive direction. And there were talks between Amorim and Liverpool.

Even though Amorim has decided to leave the club he led for five years, England may not be his preferred destination.

Amorim is enjoying a strong season for Sporting Lisbon, currently sitting seven points clear of the Portuguese top flight.

The club also has a chance to win the Portuguese Cup, meeting Porto in the final on May 26.
