Adrien Rabiot has opened up about his move to Olympique de Marseille and answered questions from the media about the move.

The 29-year-old has agreed to join OM after being without a club since his contract with Juventus expired on June 30, amid interest from a number of Europe’s top clubs.

Rabiot said of the move: “I didn’t expect to have enemies, but I didn’t expect to have 500 fans welcoming me either.”

“A city like Marseille, a stadium with one of the best atmospheres in Europe, the passion of the people, that’s important because I always look for emotion in football.”

Asked about his former spell at Paris Saint-Germain, the player replied: “No, I don’t have to explain anything to anyone. I’m building my career.”

“What it teaches us is that nothing is impossible in life. There are some things we say when we are kids, and with more experience and certain situations, it can turn out differently. I took the decision calmly and am very happy to be here.”

“It might disappoint some people, Promotion Ufabet but it’s my decision.”

Rabiot also confirmed that he has the full support of his family, saying: “It may not be obvious to them as well, but the conversations with the management and the enthusiasm of the fans before I arrived, they are very happy with me and the important thing is that my family is still strong and is with me.”
