For Paniel Cocu Mlapa, he is a 193 centimeters tall center forward with dual nationality, having been born in Togo before moving to Germany. He then started playing football in Germany, having played in the Bundesliga and Liga 2 leagues for over 200 matches with several leading clubs including Hoffenheim, Borussia Mönchengladbach, FC Nurkberg and Bochum, as well as having experience playing in major leagues in Asia, including the UAE Pro League and the K League in South Korea.
On the international stage, Paniel Cocu Mlapa has represented Germany at both Under-19 and Under-21 levels, alongside star players such as Antonio Rudiger, Mario Gotze and Bernd Leno, before switching to Togo for his home country in 2017, where he has made 15 appearances in important tournaments including World Cup qualifiers and the African Nations Cup.
